The “Go Green Community” project
In line with its agenda, SBF-Community embarked on a project titled “Go Green Community”, geared towards ensuring that the community has clean, potable water that is accessible to all, every day.
We understand the imperative need for emergency support to secure and extend water and sanitation services, given the level of underground water contamination in the community. Water is an essential component of daily living, and without it life becomes far more difficult, which is what prompted the SBF-Community to act.

The “Go Green Community” project
In line with its agenda, SBF-Community embarked on a project titled “Go Green Community Initiative.” This is geared towards ensuring that the community has clean, portable water that is accessible to all daily, while maintaining a healthy environment.
We understand the imperative need for emergency support to secure and extend water and sanitation services, given the level of underground water contamination in the community. We know that water is an essential component of our daily living, and without it, living becomes more difficult; hence, the SBF-Community is prompted by this need.
The community water facility centre was constructed to include the following: providing and operating compact water treatment plants; operating as water points and sanitation facilities to deliver water at strategic rural locations; and/or providing and operating trucks for water delivery and water tankers, including adequate water storage.
As part of its efforts towards a green environment, the SBF-Community also conducts routine community sanitation exercises to ensure that the waterways and canals remain open for the free flow of drainage within the community. Similarly, the SBF-Community has donated waste bins and trucks positioned at strategic locations throughout the community.
These efforts have received great admiration from the community’s rulers, leaders, and inhabitants, as they have alleviated the widespread plights experienced in the community.
